the LIGHT (Life in God's Holy Truth)

Life In God’s Holy Truth (LIGHT) is St. Joe’s respect life movement. The movement is designed to protect, promote and encourage the preciousness of all human life, from conception to natural death.

the LIGHT motto:

We are called to LIGHT the way for present and future generations. We must learn the truths and mistakes of our past in order that we may live Life In God’s Holy Truth in all we do, speak, and share.  Illuminate the LIGHT.

the LIGHT objectives:

• Promote and support the pro-life movement and pray for an end to abortion

• Promote and encourage Natural Family Planning

• Educate the community and the church on the ill-effects of contraception

• Contraception is linked to abortion, divorce, gay rights, as well as physical, emotional and environmental problems

• Promote and encourage youth involvement in the LIGHT movement

• Outreach opportunities with the understanding that all life is precious and must be respected

• Locally supporting food pantries, pregnancy care centers, homeless etc.

• Support an end to the practice of euthanasia
